This time, again the ring will not go any further  from a topic which goes around the process to the diamond itself, related to the diamond cut. It is baguette or sometimes also called rectangular baguette. If you think i have misspelt it from bouquet in English then oops you need to read my explanation first. Bouquet in English means a bunch of flower, whether the original or artificial one, which is often seen in a wedding ceremony thrown by the bride to her friends so that they can catch it up. And the word “baguette” that i mean in this article doesnt have any relation with the word “bouquet” i have explained before, at all. Baguette comes from the French which resembling the shape of the bread loaf. Can you imagine what it is like? Or you find it difficult to decide which part of the loaf which is interesting enough to be made as a diamond cut? Well lets say it is just a simple shape, kind of rectangular, therefore it is called rectangular baguette. But on the contrary of the simplicity of its shape, the baguette cut gains a huge popularity out of there. This cut are long and skinny, almost taking after the appearance of the emerald cut but with a less face. And so as the consequency, this cut will not get more chances to reflect the light through the diamond. With these limit faces, the long side or often called as table, become the main support to show the diamond luster. Baguette cut, some people consider its shape as a weakness. So this shape rarely seen to be used as the main diamond cut in a ring. It mostly applied as the accent in the side stones to support the main diamond in jewelry. They flank the larger diamond on the center, which is usually cut in more complicated shape, emerald or brilliant cut for example, so that this main diamond will look more charming. There are also people who dont want to waste the beauty of the diamond on this cut, so that they make the baguette side stones with other kind of stone, sapphire for example. And then they make the sapphire with a totally different color compared with the diamond, so the diamond can even more stunning. Yep its still beautiful and thats a smart way to optimalize your limit diamond, but its just ridiculous to think the baguette cut not match with the diamond. There is nothing to be afraid to apply this cut on a dimaond on your ring. With a creative design and some efforts you can even have a gorgeous baguette diamond ring. For example you can make the metal in not an ordinary chain but with some crack line. The main chain is for the baguette diamonds row, place the diamonds in an untidy array and the other crack line is for the other smaller diamonds which are cut in round cut.
